About me

I have always been an avid maker and during an evening course in 2014, I rediscovered my love for ceramics and have been making them regularly ever since.

What started off as a passion now borders on obsession but it keeps me sane!

I studied architecture at university which continues to influence my designs. My ceramics are inspired by the geometric shapes found in architecture created both in nature and man-made.

My ceramics are often paired with houseplants, I am a strong believer that everyone needs plants around them. I adore the different shapes of houseplants, especially cacti and succulents and feel these particularly compliment the shapes I create.

I use a mixture of techniques to create my ceramic work, some are hand built using slabs, a few smaller ones are formed as a pinch pot, whilst others are slip cast from a few handmade moulds.

I make a range of homewares from planters for your house plants to small fruit bowls to candle holders with the occasional plate. I currently use a white earthenware clay and I'm experimenting with porcelain.
